So How Does It Work?
Unlike traditional methods, CEREC® technology doesn’t use impressions to make the crowns. Instead, a digital picture is taken of your tooth through the OmniCam, which is then converted to a 3D model through our advanced software. Once the image has been converted, Dr. Moradi will fine tune the design before it is sent to the milling machine. The machine will immediately create an exact ceramic model, eliminating any extended waiting period or additional visits. After the ceramic crown has been polished for any finishing touches, Dr. Moradi will then bond it to your cracked or chipped tooth.
